Smile Young Beauty, A Poem for Women

Smile, young beauty
drink in the sun
in early morning
sleep in the eaves of trees
on windy afternoons
and sail on the waves
across the ocean
under moonlit skies
there is no expanse
too great, too far
but let your spirit soar
Embrace your scent
Your creases
Your style
For you are never
More alive
Than when you
Set your heart free
And unshackle your cares
Listen not to the fury
Outside your doors
The discontent, the weary lies
For you are never more beautiful
Than when you see it in your own eyes.
