Daily Post Photo Challenge: Details

The other day I was brave enough to take my new camera to the gardens.  I am not kidding when I say that it is a big improvement over my camera phone.  I mean, I’ve taken pretty good images before, but the detail that you see can be quite amazing.  I think it might be dangerous when I really learn how to use it properly 🙂

Anyway, my daughter and I stood watching bees hovering all over these flower bushes.  We both attempted to take photographs of them.  I know – I’m horrible.  That is the most detailed I get when describing flowers.  I love them to death, but have a huge gap in knowing what their names are!  My apologies.

I was hovering over this flower and got the opportunity to watch these two fight over the flower.  The smaller one would climb inside and the bee would try to drag him out.  I guess here they were trying to play a little hide and seek.  Is he gone yet?

This is my first post for the Daily Post Photo Challenge.

That’s a great shot! Just like you, I appreciate flowers and love the colors and smells, but don’t know (or care) about their names. I was watching and photographing some bees and butterflies in our yard yesterday as well. I haven’t checked them out yet. They are probably all blurry and not as successful as yours!

Yes, no matter how many times someone tells me the names, I forget. However, I appreciate flowers ever so much 🙂 You will have to share your photos. I would love to see them. Thank you so much for your comments – and photography definitely takes time. In the beginning, I took more bad photos than good ones. I am sure yours are lovely Liesbet.
