Photography: Making Mountain Memories (Part Two)

The air was heavy with the scent of pine.  It was hot, but every step was worth it.  We walked along with flushed cheeks and smiles on our faces.  We would our way up the side of the mountain and finally made our way to the other side, where the dam was located.  The views were spectacular.  I hope you can enjoy them too…

 

Now after you see these photos, I know the first question will be, “Were there only yellow and purple flowers there?”  Truthfully, that was not on purpose.  What I have learned along the way is that every season brings its own beauty.  I have been here during the Spring and the fields were awash with many different flowers.  Being later in the season, there were some but not many.  They were interspersed here and there.  No matter how many, where they were seen, or what color they were – each and every one added beauty to our day.
