Daily Post Prompt: Sincere Hearts Seek Beauty, A Poem

ghandiquote

Beauty lives and beauty thrives
no matter where or when
even the fallen – they can rise
to live – to dream again.

But everywhere you try to seek
a whisper you may hear
some in darkness – love to dwell
they’ll gladly grab your ear.

But their sad ventures, all in vain
for sincere hearts – still seek
they’ve found beauty without – within
their hearts – in beauty – speak.

Thank you – yes, she is quite talented. Sadly, school keeps her so busy that she doesn’t get to do much artwork until the summer. Hoping we can do more together soon. Thank you!

Thank you so much 🙂 Yes I love her artwork and am sad that she doesn’t do it often. Well, she has done quite a lot here and there – but mostly to give as gifts for people in the nursing home. Since then, she has just been busy. I’m trying to help her manager her time better to make more time for self-expression. She needs it and I miss her artwork!

One of our good friends lives there and we know the people well. They light up whenever they see the kids – it is good for all of us 🙂

I will let her know. She will be thrilled 🙂 She made it for one of her teacher’s a few years ago when she was moving to a new school.
