It’s not what you were thinking… Yesterday, the word of the day was “rainment” on Merriam-Webster. I tried to post it yesterday, but for some reason my account wasn’t working. Enjoy!
Lay down your raiment
At my feet
Let the gentle breeze
Plunder my senses
For I am naked
And senselessly scratching
Toward the withering skies
Alone, in the silence.
The rattle in my bones lingers
And loneliness grows my day
I want
I need
The comfort of your tresses
And the beauty that I seek,
For hidden beneath
Your glorious shelter
I see beauty
Where once I saw nakedness.

Thank you very much Robbie. Sometimes, I am also entranced by winter. Just wish I could brave the cold more 🙂

Thank you – I guess I was in the “winter mood” today 🙂 The snow can definitely be lovely!
