Photography: Through the Lens of a Microscope (Part #6)

Just like my last post, I decided to play with water, oil, food coloring (this time blue), and a bowl.  It is amazing to think that color would play such an important role in how things turn out but I guess if you think about the importance of color in paintings  – it should be obvious.  I think I prefer the blue to the yellow so far, but truthfully all the photographs are mesmerizing.  I just like the different shades of blue that come through.  I could have altered these photos a little (brightening up in some places and darkening others) but I wanted to show them in the unique beauty, just as I saw them.  I hope you enjoy!

Yes, that was exactly what I was thinking. I guess I am just fascinated that there are aspects of things that we never really see. It is such a neat perspective – made me think of floating in space 🙂 So glad you liked them!
