Leaning Beauty, a poem

This poem was written for the following beauty I spied at the gardens…

Rest your head,
leaning beauty.
Find solace in
the silent moments
when dawn streaks across
the outstretched horizon.
Find comfort in
the whispered kiss
of morning dew.
It is enough –
your presence laden
with earthly beauty
that I may rest beneath
your sleeping shadow
and dream that I
am heaven sent.

I loved this. It also inspired me since you mentioned in your other post it snowed I see her as hiding from the snow…

    Hiding from the sky
    A little bloom shys away
    From the coming storm

Thanks 🙂 Trying something new. Inspired by photography… I figure I should try to merge the two a little.
