Photography: Take a Walk (Post #2)

on

Again, I am going to revisit the nice walk we took last week in another city.  Essentially, we were “supposed” to go to the free gardens, but they were closed for a wedding.  They didn’t exactly mention that on their website or anything, but oh well…  At the end of the day, I am rather glad they were closed.  We went out with the intention to walk and see beauty and since they were closed, we looked to see where else we could spend our time.  Right behind the gardens is a walking path that spans about 11 miles or so.

Most of the time, each side of the path was covered in the shade of trees.  When not, you just walked to the other side for shade.  To me, it was perfect.  My daughter had the most fun as she took a lot of photographs of insects there.  There was one for every leaf and every flower, it seemed.  We had a hard time pulling her away to actually move down the path very far.  Oh, the trouble I get myself into!  Overall, it was a lovely walk and I’d love to take you along with me and share in the view.  I am hoping to take you on more of these excursions with me as we go on them this summer.  During school, we are usually too busy so this is my moment to spend as much time outdoors as I can.  I do hope you enjoy!

Yes, I was lucky to see it 🙂 It truly was a lovely walk that ended all too quickly… but hopefully we will see more of it!

Thank you. I am never sure if things will turn out. Sometimes pictures look glorious on my camera but then when I open the pictures up on the computer there is something wrong with them. I feel that sometimes I just get lucky 🙂

It’s not always down to luck. You have a very good eye, Sumyanna, and take great pictures with it 🙂

Okay… I will agree with you 🙂 I just feel like I just pick up the camera and go. I’m not a professional… but I just enjoy the heck out of taking photos. Thank you.
