Photography: The Many Colors of Beauty (Part #2)

Another post from the gardens sometime ago.  We only had an hour or two to spare, but you know me… I had to take my camera.  I just look through these and am amazed at the beautiful colors on display at the gardens.  I mean, I am awed in the moment, standing there and seeing them in real life.  I am also awed much later, looking back at the photos I have taken.  It is just what I need to put a smile on my face… and I do hope it puts one on your face as well 🙂  Here’s wishing you sunshine and cool breezes, wherever you may be.

    1. Now that one I could say was perfectly timed, but they often just buzz in here and there without any announcement. I just keep taking pictures and hope one turns out 🙂 I love that one too!

    1. It is so funny how they just keep flying around. Once a huge bumble bee got angry that I was standing around. It ran circles around me several times and then went back to nestling in the flower. Who knew they thought I was paparazzi!

        1. I am truly a lover of all types of art, but I have to say that I truly love those that don’t always look exactly as they do in real life. I can’t explain it, but it seems like it is the artist’s interpretation of what they see and it is more personal. It if is crisp and clear… it is equally beautiful, but I think that when an artists takes it and makes it their own, a little part of the heart is left behind on the canvas. I have seen your paintings and I have to say I admire them so!

      1. Pretty spectacular Especially considering you just picked up a camera and point and click. You have an amazing handle on what makes an exquisite picture. the lighting, content, how much of the frame to fill…outstanding

        1. I have to admit, I’ve always had a good eye with art – even though I feel that my love for art was never nourished. It’s one of my regrets to not learn other artistic pursuits, but I think perhaps that will be something I will enjoy much later in life… I hope 🙂

          1. I’m sure you will have the opportunity because it’s in your thought process and I believe sincerely that we get what we ask for so if we let the universe know this is special, then it comes. Sometimes not when expected, but surprisingly it comes. 🙂

          2. I do hope so 🙂 I find it odd, sometimes that I feel such a strong desire to do things I have never done yet. Right now, with time constraints… I can’t but I hope with all my heart I can in the future. I guess it is a blessing to still have dreams 🙂

          3. Hey, look at me. I’m 62 and I just started writing something I’ve always loved but hadn’t taken seriously. Now I am, and I am loving it! So better late than never?? Absolutely!

          4. I think it is great that you are pursuing your dreams and I have to say, I don’t feel stressed that I can’t right now. I just feel like when the time comes, I will be ready for it 🙂 Absolutely… better late than never!
