Photography: Spring Awakening #1

As I mentioned in my latest post, I was able to recently run off to the gardens.  The moments were a bit short lived, but you have to grab onto every chance for joy.  I was glad to go and so glad to see so many things changing.

The good news is that the kiddos are “supposed” to be done with school this week and we intend to go to the gardens to celebrate.  I just hope the weather cooperates.  Today it has been gray and windy, but who is going to complain when the beautiful new leaves on the trees are rustling in the wind and the branches sway…

    1. Sorry I haven’t gotten a chance to respond to your message. Spring was wonderful and this year, Summer is quite a bit warmer than normal. We still have managed to sneak away to the gardens at least once a week though, so I am thrilled 🙂

  1. Most of my friends had a long wait for spring to arrive this year. I could almost feel guilty for living in this perfectly temperate climate. How fortunate for me that while I live here because I can’t afford to live anyplace else, it’s also pretty much a paradise!

    1. Seriously, don’t feel guilty. Well, as long as you still share pictures 😉 I think there is beauty in every part of our little corners of the world. It just takes a fine eye to see it. Yours is especially beautiful.
