Photography: Getting Beautifully Distracted (Part #2)

I think some of you might remember that we went up to the mountains to walk where there are dinosaur prints and fossils.  It was a nice walk and the prints and fossils were nice, but I have to say I was more enamored by the view.  There were plants I had not seen before and some of the plants, while in decay – were just beautiful in their form.

I accidentally pushed a button on the new camera and my pictures were transformed into black and white photographs.  Who knew?!?  🙂  I then accidentally turned it off and had to figure out how to do it again.  Oh, I need to sit down and read through that manual, but it seems like every time I try to sit down and read I have people begging to curl in my lap (and no, I do not have cats – just kids).  I find it oh so hard to read these days and I have to admit, I miss it a lot.  However, I know that things will change over time and I will miss these days when I did not have time to read.  There are so many blessings here – both with homeschooling and with being able to spend all my time with the kids.  I cannot complain.  Besides, my mistakes sometimes produce some pretty results…
