Before writing, I tried to learn a bit more about this building and its purpose – this is the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències in Valencia, Spain, taken by Patrick Jennings. This is definitely someplace that I would love to visit!
Let Us Rise from this Chaos
Looming, steel
wonder
I ponder the hands
that created you
the mind
that conjured
every angle
every beam
to celebrate
the beauty
of the world
around you
to sing
their praises
to astound
the unmoved hearts
to awaken
the sleeping voice
of curiosity.
You stand
opposing
fear
of the misunderstood,
while some fight
ferociously
to build walls
of dishonest discourse.
Let us
rise
from this chaos.

I made the changes necessary – sorry, I wasn’t sure how to properly note the challenge as this was my first time. Thank you so much for your kind words and for doing prompts like this. I’ve missed writing and have had a hard time coming up with ideas. Your prompt really helped.
